The Tralogit OBD device measures fuel level in real time. The system automatically distinguishes three types of events: Normal refueling (rise > 10%) Detected when fuel level increases significantly. Recorded in the vehicle's history with timestamp and location. Potential theft or leak (drop > 5%, vehicle stationary) When fuel level drops by more than 5% while the vehicle is stationary and the engine is off, an alert is sent immediately. This threshold is intentionally separate from refueling to avoid false positives. Excessive idling (engine on, speed = 0, duration > 2 minutes) Idling is detected by combining three conditions: the engine is running, speed is zero, and duration exceeds 2 minutes. Idle hours are tracked per vehicle and per driver, with the associated fuel cost.
